Each year, the WSO’s Young People’s Concert Tour travels to schools and venues in West Virginia, Ohio, and Pennsylvania and provides thousands of elementary school students and their teachers with the opportunity to experience engaging and educational symphonic performances.

Announcing the 2025 Young People’s Concert Tour!

 

This educational concert titled Cultures Crossing features Maestro John Devlin, Wheeling Symphony musicians, and guest artist Chantal Braziel. You will be introduced to symphonic works, written in America, that embody specific elements of cultures from around the world. The concert is approximately 50 minutes in length and is recommended for elementary students.

Concert Schedule:

  • April 7 — 9:30 and 11:15 a.m. at J.B. Chambers Performing Arts Center (WPHS)
  • April 9 — 9:30 and 11:15 a.m. at Buckeye Local High School
  • April 10 —11:30 a.m. and 1:15 p.m. at John Marshall High School Center for the Performing Arts
  • April 11 — 8:20 and 9:30 a.m. at Washington Park School
