Mozart’s Symphony no. 40 takes center stage for our third Masterworks of the season, as well as a performance of Sibelius’s Finlandia, Bartók’s Romanian Folk Dances, and Clarice Assad’s Bohemian Queen, featuring soloist Mary Elizabeth Bowden, trumpet.

Our Masterworks series comes to an exciting conclusion with the performance of Beethoven’s Symphony no. 9, featuring the Wheeling Symphony Chorus. Also on the program is Brahms’s joyful Academic Overture and the thrilling premiere of Wheeling’s own Will Dixon’s Les Belles de Lausanne.
