Symphony Fund



The mission of the Wheeling Symphony is “to serve residents of our communities by providing excellent orchestral programs that entertain, educate, and enhance the quality of life.” Community support is essential to carrying out this mission and the annual Symphony Fund Campaign helps to offset the following:

FREE outdoor concert tours – Fourth of July Celebration and Labor Day weekend’s Music Under the Stars

Young People’s Concert Tour that reaches nearly 8,000 children & teachers each year

An annual holiday concert production that captures the magic of the season

Wheeling Symphony Youth Orchestra, a tuition-free orchestra for student musicians

Artist in Residence, a music education program for that serves at-risk school children

Partnership in Education with a local schools to enhance students’ cultural experiences

A Subscription Concert Series, that showcases the impressive artistry of our orchestra
