In The Community

The Wheeling Symphony performs a total of five free concerts annually as a means to give back to the community and be accessible to all residents. The free summer concerts include a Fourth of July Concert Tour in four West Virginia cities – Wheeling, Clarksburg, Canaan Valley and Weirton – as well
as a Labor Day Concert Tour,  “Music Under the Stars,” in Wheeling and Morgantown. These concerts are family-friendly outdoor events that have
become important elements of the fabric of life for these communities.

People of all ages, economic levels and backgrounds come together at the WSO’s free summer concerts to enjoy the music and celebrate, as a community,
two great American holidays. In addition, the concerts are a direct and deliberate effort on behalf of the Wheeling Symphony to fulfill its mission to enhance the quality of life for residents of its community.
